I wanted to try something different with this bandsaw box after I did one I called the flame. I wanted to see if I could have the top of the box cross (one side behind the other). Think about laying that on the bandsaw and cutting it out LOL. I finished this box last fall and actually took it to the Lumberjock picnic in HighPoint, NC and a few of our fellow LJ’s got to see it, but after I brought it home and it set on the shelf for a couple months, I decided it needed more work. (Even though it was finished and all the drawers were flocked!).......so off to the shop I went, got out my trusty grinder and started some free hand shaping on the outside. I wanted to give it a little more flow. It’s approx. 6” wide x 16” tall, walnut with a lacquer finish.
